MARK R. LUMIA
Mark was born in New Jersy and grew up in the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida where his first job was working at a fast food restaurant. In school, Mark excelled in Math. To this day, he views helping clients manage and preserve their wealth as a numbers challenge – one which he thoroughly enjoys.
Mark Lumia is founder and CEO of True Wealth Group, LLC, which has its headquarters in Oxford, Florida. He and his wife, Maryna, make their home in Ocala, Florida. They are parents of two sons, Ian and Liam, and two daughters, Mia and Lia.Mark started his career as a financial professional after leaving the University of Florida in 1989. He recognized that nothing gave him greater professional satisfaction than helping people preserve their wealth, retire with abundant income for the rest of their lives and finding ways to reduce their tax burdens. He formed True Wealth Group, LLC, and currently oversees its operations and staff. Mark, aka, MedicareMark created the Podcast “The Medicare Minute” and the Webinar “The Truth About Medicare”.
Mark believes that there is no “silver bullet” when it comes to a successful, worry-free retirement. Rather, it is built one brick at a time by making intelligent choices. His planning philosophy is purpose-based, which is another way of saying that money means different things to different people and no two individuals are alike. Mark believes that the most important financial aspect of retirement is a secure lifetime income along with making solid decisions with Social Security and Medicare.
Mark is a certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Retirement Management Analyst (RMA®), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) and a Certified Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®). He holds numerous other insurance licenses and credentials such as Series 65. He was a Master Elite IRA Advisor and is an Infinite Banking Concepts® Authorized Practitioner. He also holds a Real Estate License. While Mark specializes in medicare, social security, retirement income planning and Tax Strategy, he also helps his Clients find True Wealth.
